| In 2002, Peugeot held their 2nd competition for aspirant automotive architects. The achiever was the gifted Stephen Schulze of Germany and his arresting 4002 design. One of the most originative car design constructs in 10s, the organically-shaped 4002 is both futurist in addition to as instinct with styling cues from Peugeots of the past, such the headlamps behind the radiator grille that was seen in the Peugeot 402 of the 1930s
